Saladin The Animated Series

Malaysian MDeC (Multimedia Development Corporation) Saladin series are looking for a bright future with fans anticipating its debut and scored in some of the biggest events like the Best Technology category at the Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival(SICAF) Promotions Plan competition and the Tokyo Big Sight Award at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2007, which is the world's largest anime exhibition if i might add.. A standing ovation for them. Clap people clap..

Saladin tell the stories of Muslim Figure Salah al-Dīn Yusuf ibn Ayyub the Sultan of Egypt and Syria and a major role in changing the world as the one who unified and led Muslims against the crusaders and reclaming palestine soils and with it the Kingdom of Jerusalem. The animated series are astounding as of what been shown to me it delivers hero, characters, and stories of brilliant endeavors and stuff of legends as Saladin crafts its ways through to his destiny.

I remember being on an educational trip once to MDeC and they show me these trailer and i think it was over a year ago..This 13 episodes Tv series has been in production mode since long before that as i am told then(May 2004) so i'm hoping it will be out anytime soon(words is they be airing their series in 2008). this is one malaysian product that have world standard and quality.. I guess we'll see if they delivers or not in due time.

Here are they main project of the same people who made Upin And due to make an appreances anytime now. unfortunately i can't find when exactly it will go to the big screen... here are the synopsis from its main web site



"Strange footprints and eerie voices are only some of the things that frighten the villagers of Kampong Durian Runtuh. Stories tell of a beast lurking in the forest at night. Nobody dares to find out what it is, until Badrol and Lim who are on a vacation trip to the same village, stumble into the very heart of the mystery itself. Now it’s up to the two boys together with their new found friends Rajoo the animal whispering boy, Ros the village beauty, and the mischievous twins to embark on a journey of action, adventure and mystery."



can't seem to make out it whole storyline. However i'm guessing that it revolves a city kid goes to a village maybe to visit his grandfolks. make friends, get a taste of the village life and then goes into a ghost hunt. solve case, maybe it is not a real ghost just some criminal on the lose or just a hoax to cover a criminal scheme.. You know the typical story told by kids investigation books like hardy boys and stuff like that.. however i sincerely hope i'm wrong and the story will be an unexpected one or at least people can't guess the whole storyline cause it is a collection of lively acts and a shame if the story line fell short..
